Help Us Build the First National Archive of Encaustic Art

The National Museum of Encaustic Art (NEMoA) is more than a museum—it’s a movement. Founded in 2025 by artist Freddie Bainbridge, NEMoA is the first institution of its kind dedicated entirely to preserving, elevating, and celebrating encaustic art in all its layered, luminous forms.

As a new and growing museum, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us establish exhibitions, expand our digital infrastructure, support artists across the country, and maintain a national archive that honors the power of wax-based art.

Why Your Support Matters

Your donation helps us:

  • Build and maintain a national digital archive of encaustic artwork

  • Host open calls and curate exhibitions that reflect voices from all 50 states

  • Support artist education and community workshops

  • Fund future physical exhibitions and long-term preservation efforts

  • Develop accessible programming for schools, seniors, and underserved communities
