The Bainbridge Artists Salon

A gathering for artists, collectors, thinkers, and the creatively curious

The Bainbridge Artists Salon is a warm, welcoming evening where artists, collectors, writers, musicians, designers, and anyone who loves creative conversation can come together. Hosted by Freddie Bainbridge, the salon blends the intimacy of a living-room gathering with the inspiration of a vibrant artistic community.

Held in rotating locations — including the historic Allegheny Harvard Yale Princeton Club in Pittsburgh, Freddie’s studio at Bainbridge House, and select gallery partners — each salon offers a relaxed atmosphere for conversation, exploration, and connection. Guests may bring a piece of art to share, a topic for discussion, or simply bring their curiosity. No preparation is required; presence is enough.

Salons typically include two hours of discussion shaped by the group, guided gently by Freddie. Topics range from the making of art, the business of art, and the politics of art, to personal stories, inspiration, and the creative life. Light refreshments are served, and every salon becomes its own memorable moment of community, humor, and discovery.

The Bainbridge Artists Salon is open to all — artists at every stage, collectors, supporters of the arts, and friends who simply love to listen and share. Whether you come to participate or to observe, you are warmly invited to pull up a chair and join the circle.
