Be Part of a National Archive of Encaustic Art
The National Museum of Encaustic Art (NEMoA) is actively accepting submissions from encaustic artists across the United States. Whether you work in traditional wax painting, photo encaustic, abstract compositions, or landscapes layered with meaning—this is your invitation to contribute to the first curated digital museum devoted entirely to encaustic.
Our mission is to represent artists from all 50 states and build a living archive of encaustic’s power, diversity, and depth.
What We’re Looking For
Original encaustic works in any style, including photo encaustic, mixed media, abstract, and landscapes
Artists from all 50 U.S. states — we are actively building a collection that reflects national identity and creative geography
Works that speak to memory, layering, identity, materiality, spirit, or place
How to Submit
Submissions are open on a rolling basis. There is no fee to apply, and all selected works will be credited and featured on the NEMoA website and/or in rotating digital exhibitions. Artists retain full rights to their work.
